AdSense publishers reported huge drops in earnings

Some of the AdSense publishers reported huge dropping in earnings by last few days. According to thread on WebMasterWorld has noticed that earnings by AdSense and statistics were impacted by the American holiday Thanksgiving day.

Recently Google AdSense team made some changes in adformats. Google is trying to stop Accidental clicks fade into the background.

Users could click on all text and white space of ads of old format.

But now users can click on only on title and url of ads of new format.

This new adformat may cause to decrease accidental clicks and hits. Now the mature advertise will get only matured and real click.

I think new adsense format would be also a reason of dropping earnings by publishing AdSense. By this new format adsense advertisers can save their money and become safe from fraud clicks.
